J-U-M-P!

SOMETIMES LADY CAN GET A LITTLE JUMPY.

Normally, Lady knows when my wife Holly and I are touching her, and she doesn't react much. Sure, she gets jumpy now and then, particularly when someone cracks a trash bag.

But yesterday Lady did something almost extraordinary. When Holly gently touched Lady just in front of her tail, Lady jumped up and back, and she actually turned in mid-air. She growled in flight, then looked calm when she realized Holly was the culprit.

Even after nearly 12 years with Lady, we'll be more careful with her from now on.
