DIXIE SURPRISED me today.
Usually, I put her on her line beside the carport, she goes out in the yard and gets wrapped around the butterfly bush. Then, my wife has to go out to get her (or I do).
Today, Dixie got wrapped around the bush, and I prepared to go out and get her. Sigh. (I didn't want to go)
Then I realized that she was free. She'd gone back the other way around the bush and unwrapped herself. She was lying in the grass, happily wriggling on her back.
First time for everything. And what a relief.
Dixie's now in her usual spot, lying on her bed behind me in our home office. That bush will have to wait until tomorrow for another chance.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
