Lady and the cat? She survived

LADY WEIGHED 50.9 POUNDS TODAY AT THE VET'S
OFFICE. THAT'S DOWN MORE THAN SIX POUNDS.

Lady hates cats, but sometimes she surprises me. Today, we went to the vet's office, and they have a big cat as a mascot. That cat was standing there when we went through the door.

I would have expected a fight or at least some noise, but the cat just strolled away, and Lady just looked at it. No growling, no pulling, no snarling, no blood letting.

What happened? Nothing, actually.

P.S.: During a later trip to the vet, I noticed that cat had "I BITE" on his collar. I didn't try to pet him.
