Head games with Buddy

I TOOK BUDDY'S PICTURE HERE
AGAINST HIS BETTER JUDGMENT. HE
WAS AFRAID OF THE CAMERA.
OUR BOY BUDDY doesn't go through the dog door like Lady does. She goes through slowly, making one step at a time. Buddy goes charging through, often tearing up the gasket around the flap.

One day, I got a bright idea that didn't work. I decided to lower the metal dog door a few inches to force Buddy to slow down. The next day, I was upstairs and heard "DING!", "THUD."

Fearing the worst, I ran downstairs, and Buddy was sitting and swaying back and forth. I checked him out and found no blood, only a knot on his head, and his eyes weren't hurt.

Fortunately, he hit his least vulnerable spot.

And, yes, I moved the dog door back to its normal spot.

(NOTE: Buddy died on Oct. 28, 2011.)
