A dancing Lady, ready to go for a walk

A HAPPY LADY
Lady looked bored when I went to get her today in the backyard. When she saw me, she knew something was up, and she literally started dancing. She must have danced around me 10 seconds before she lined up to go out in the yard.

Is that unusual? Very.

When we got to the van, though, she didn't want to get in. I tried two or three times, then took her for a walk around the neighborhood.

I realized that she was excited about a walk, not a trip to the dog park.

Now? We're home, and she's sleeping under a table; one of her usual spots.

NOTE: Lady passed on Sept. 17, and I'm still in pain.

Suddenly Lady's spry

THIS IS AN OLD PHOTO, BUT LADY WAS RUNNING TODAY

Lady looked exceptionally spry today at the dog park; in fact, a guy named Chuck said so when he first saw her.

A few minutes later, Lady was playing with a young dog, running in circles and to and fro. She looked the happiest she's looked at the dog park in a long time.

I feared that she might hurt her bad hip, but apparently she didn't. She did, however, go find a place to nap when we came home.
