Good and bad at the dog park

Lady had good and bad today at the dog park.

First, the bad: An Akita/pit bull mix tried to dominate Lady early in our visit. It actually tried to hump her head, but the big dog's owner got it off her quickly. Later, it tried to climb on her the normal way. The owner hurried up again, but Lady quickly growled/barked at him. He got off and moved away.

GOOD girl.

Later, Lady started running alone. She sprinted across the lower part of the dog park, then ran around a bit. She reminds me of a halfback in the open field when she does that, and it's fun to watch.

I was a little surprised that she ran so much, though. When we got out of the van the other day, she actually held one of her hind legs off the ground as though she was hurt.

She wasn't hurt today, though. Just upset.
