DIXIE GETS OUT OF HER HARNESS WHEN SHE CAN. |
My wife Holly put Dixie out on the car port on her leash, and Dixie wiggled out of her harness. A little bit later, a neighbor knocked on the door and asked if we had a three-legged beagle. And we did. She handed Dixie to Holly.
Now, Holly's working to make Dixie's harness more Houdini proof, so she can't wiggle out of it.
UPDATE: Dixie was playing in the yard today when I heard my wife Holly holler at her. I went to the door and saw our beagle heading through our neighbor's yard; she'd been hooked to a line, and she'd gotten out of her harness again.
Holly went out to get her, and later she said she caught Dixie at the end of the lane. Me? I was just happy to get her back.
For some reason, she's been lying like a lump in her crate since she got back.
