Quiet walk in the neighborhood

WE GOT CLOSE AT THE DOG PARK
Dixie and I had better luck walking today than we did yesterday.

I took her to Covington Park yesterday, but today we just walked around the neighborhood. It was uneventful, and Dixie seemed to enjoy our walk.

We walked up to our neighbors' yard, but they didn't pay any attention to us where they were working outside.

She never once tried to pull out of her harness. The only negative came when she tried to drink out of a mud puddle.

We just turned around and came back, picking up the mail on the way. I put Dixie in the house.

Then I went back out, put a bag of trash in the barrel and pulled it out to the curb (they'll pick it up Tuesday morning). Dixie's a major hindrance when taking out the trash, so it was best to leave her inside.
