LADY DECIDED TO VOICE HER CONCERN ABOUT DAISY'S BARKING. |
Daisy barked again, and Lady woofed back, much louder and more powerfully this time. Daisy, who was on the other side of a fence, jumped back and hurried away from the fence.
Lady trotted away happily.
Why was that momentous? Lady probably hasn't barked a couple of dozen times in the nearly eight years (come this June) that I've been taking her to the Happy Hounds dog park. Several people have asked if she couldn't bark; in fact, someone asked that today.
Yes, she CAN bark, as Daisy will attest. She just doesn't bark unless she has something to say.
NOTE: Lady passed on Sept. 17, 2016, my worst day until Nov. 8, 2016.
