Feeding Katie pretzels

SADLY, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PHOTOS I HAVE OF KATIE.

Our collie Katie died in 2010, but I still remember Katie's "sophisticated" way of bumming food when she was still alive.

I'd buy a big bag of pretzels at the Dollar Tree, and I'd keep it handy when I was working at the computer. Katie would lie behind me as I was working. Sometimes, I'd grab a pretzel and, without looking, I'd reach back and feel Katie's soft "lips" as she'd take it. Then I'd hear munching.

That's one of my favorite memories of her.
