BUDDY'S MOURNFUL HOWL

TIMID BUDDY
Normally, our timid mutt Buddy rarely left the basement and came upstairs.

But, for some reason, Buddy was sitting in the dining room near the car-port door while I was watching the movie "Lady and the Tramp."

When it reached the point that Trusty got hurt and Jock let out a sad wail, Buddy looked around the room and let out one of the most mournful cries I've ever heard. Then he looked alert and concerned for the next several minutes.

Fortunately, Trusty was OK in the movie, and Buddy soon returned to the safety of the basement.

Sadly, Buddy died a few years later.
